The Lifebag 30L now known as the Guide 30, combines all the features of a ski/snowboard backpack such as balance, light weight and plenty of volume with Snowpulse’s life-saving Avalanche Airbag System. Guide 30 is the best-selling snowpulse pack and has received the focus of all the expertised attention of Snowpulse. The bagback is well known and highly valued among lots of mountaineering professionals and mountaineering enthusiast.
With one large compartment (hydration system compatible) and a second compartment to accommodate your shovel, probe and ski touring skins, the LifeBag 30L has ample space. There’s a pocket inside the large compartment for keys, glasses, etc, as well as two pockets conveniently placed on the hip belt.
On the front there are removable straps for snowboards or skis. In addition, the LifeBag 30L has compression straps with lockable buckles, an ice axe fixation and a detachable net for your helmet.
Snowpulse backpacks have a fully integrated, 150L airbag inside the shoulder straps and a compressed air cylinder which will protect the your head, spine and torso from trauma in the event of an avalanche. Pulling the handle (which can be kept in a zipped compartment to avoid accidental deployment) will inflate the airbag in 3 seconds.
Once inflated, the airbag will lift the wearer to the surface of a slide due to inverse segregation, keeping you safe from asphyxiation . The innovative shape of the airbag uses Heads-On-Top technology (H.O.T.) and keeps your face out of the snow, reducing the chance of shock. The airbag is brightly coloured so that rescuers will find you quickly and, when deflated, will create extra space in the snow to help you get out.
The back of the LifeBag is ergonomically designed and has a ventilation system with air channels. To further ensure comfort, the shoulder straps are quilted and the chest strap is adjustable.
